Is this Game Underrated?

I have had this game for awhile and I have played through quite a bit of it....and Loved it,but have come across some game ending glitches which people tend to complain and downvote this game for even though the actual glitches can be avoided with Multiple save files.I hope someone just gives me a Yes or No on this because as a Fan of H.P Lovecraft its hard to rant against a game based off his work without Propers Support

It is one of my favorite games. I remember back on the day gamespot gave it a score of 4, and then they changed it to 8.

Had this game on origianal Xbox and I've been desperately trying to get my old Xbox back for years just to play this game, then I found it on steam! Oh happy day for me! It's an amazing game and should have a higher rating.

I`m stuck on a jumping part in the game, I have to jump across a massive gap to half a stair case and I cant seem to make the jump.

It's a really good game that's faithful in spirit to Lovecraft. It can be brutally challenging and it's too bad that is DOES suffer from some bugs, but there are ways around all of them and finish the game

lovecraft is awesome
this game is excellent like really late at night when the shadows are dancing in the moonlight.
but uhh seriously good game so far...the villagers just really started looking fishy..and with machine guns oO ....i hope i get to fight deep ones

The game is excellent. Too bad there are some bugs that can make it impossible to advance. You can work around them, but the average person won't want to go through the trouble and will just quit right there.
