crashes during the hotel escape mission

When I open the door where the closet is in the second room, the game crashes.
I installed the 1.7 patch,
refresh rate 60 FPS,
Windowed mode,
1 CPU core.
Does anyone have a solution?

Most of the crashes of this type that I experienced were caused by trying to run it with the video resolution too high. Keep it down to about 800X600 or only slightly higher.

Do you have turned off Anti-aliasing ?

I would say yes, turn off the anti-aliasing. I never use it. You can always turn it back on if that does not work.

I only say this because in my experience anti-aliasing causes game crashes on modern OS.
