That God-D***ed half-stair jump.

Burning Bank: I make it to the part where I'm suppose to jump to the half broken stairs...only thing is I've attempeted over 53 time and have not make it. Is this one of the game breaking bugs I hear so much about. I have injued legs and no first aid equipment - is that slowing me down so i can make the jump? Any advice would help.

It could be, I haven't reached that point yet.

Have you tried the patch for the game? There is a guide which will show you how to fix most of these problems.

I can't believe Gabe still lets this game be sold in this condition.

What could really help this game would be if the source code were released so all the bugs could be conclusively fixed.

Failing that, the only bug-free experience we'll get from this excellent game is if it's remade in a more modern and less-buggy engine. I'd like to see that.

I made the half-stair jump on the first attempt yesterday with ease. I was uninjured. Injured legs do slow you down. I'd heal up and attempt it again.

I'm running the game unpatched. There are more crashes to look forward to. Firing a gun will sometimes crash the game. :-/ At that point I just take a break and come back to it later. This game worked a lot better on the Xbox, I don't think I crashed once, so clearly was meant for console.
