How scary is this game?
I bought it in a sale recently and I am wondering if it will be too scary. I'm fine with gore and violence but not with jumpscares or any really creepy stuff. I'm really not good with horror games but have been wanting to try this game out for a while. Any jumpscares?

I was gifted this game today and I must say that I could only play it for 5 minutes. After that I felt the adrenaline pumping in my heart and mind and closed the game. That said, I could play Amnesia, for example, a little bit longer - 10 or 15 minutes.

Well, I'm not so brave (I can't play Amnesia, for example) but I've already played the biggest part of the game and I can't say that it's so scary. Only sometimes, at some moments. And there are only a few jumpscares. The game is much more challenging and atmospheric than scary. So don't be afraid and try it)

How is that possible? The beginning isn't scary at all. You don't even have to deal with any enemies or danger. You simply can't die)

Upd: I've finished this game and there were some scary moments at the end but still very tolerable. So generally, this game is relatively scary, it's suitable even for timorous people like me)

Wow, it took 20 hours? What did the scary stuff consist of? (Jumpscares, monsters etc.)
Thanks for the update btw :)

It took 20 hours mostly because there were a lot of not easy moments where if you get killed you have to start from the last save (and the save system in the game is rather disgusting, you have to save using checkpoint symbols and sometimes this symbols aren't placed where they should be).
As for the scary stuff - well, most of it consists of atmosphere of constant danger, you don't know what expects you at the next corner and so on. There are not so many kind of monsters in this game and they can't be considered very scary. The jumpscares are very rare and not so much terrifying. So, the oppressive atmosphere is the main component of the game's scariness)

Okay, thanks so much for taking time to write all this :). I think I'll just play it with my speakers instead of headphones and I should be fine.
