Because this games universe has major plotholes and exploitability if you have a team of people working together. Even if they would put you into the initial assault, all you would need is a gun, ammo and a teammate. You could do it all yourself with some toy rockets too (yea i know... bad example , movie is great and this scene was shocking even for me as RARELY a movie kills children these day's). They NEED to open themself up to actualy pinpoint you, thats the point where they can be killed easier than a .50 cal (wich would punch trhough them anyway...)

Oh a .50 cal works? You've tried it yourself? Or you must be John krasinski! Really loved the first two movies you did a great job

I think it could be fun AF with co-op for sure! Would make it even scarier trying to coordinate escapes and just in general because you would have to be quiet together. Kinda neat.

dont listen to them they more than likely have no friends to play online with so there salty and saying dub excuses why theres no multiplayer either way if the people demand it they will provide it

Multiplayer would a survival game kinda like lethal company were you are surviving round of the monster and you have an objective to complete

Going by the movies, having another person to help keep alive or add tension would have been spot on. That is what I was hoping. Oh well.
It is funny how people are scared of coop games. I am a pretty bad introvert and I still prefer coop sometimes. Mainly gaming with my kids but friends occasionally too.
