All you need to use are sound devices to weaken the creatures with super-hearing.

The game would have had some action (shotgun play) and maybe different sound options to mess with the Monsters and kill them. Maybe a 3rd person camera option as well.
This game is set BEFORE the movie where that is discovered for the first time.
Also even then its definitely not a very save way to kill those things, just a last ditch option.
I guess I won't be playing that game either...

I only play games I know I'm likely to enjoy. I've played some "can only run away" games. It's just not a game type I find to be fun.
That's the same thing as run and hide. A "difference without distinction"
