How to ENABLE native HDR
This is an engine.ini modification which turns on native HDR support for Unreal Engine 5. You can simply copy & paste the lines below at the very bottom of your own engine.ini file located at: <%LOCALAPPDATA%\AQuietPlace\Saved\Config\Windows>

[SystemSettings]
r.FullScreenMode=0
r.HDR.Display.MaxLuminance=1000
r.HDR.Display.MidLuminance=21.0
r.HDR.Display.MinLuminanceLog10=-8.0
r.HDR.Display.OutputDevice=3
r.HDR.EnableHDROutput=1
r.HDR.UI.Luminance=100

You can adjust Luminance levels to your liking. MaxLuminance is the peak brightness level so adjust to your monitor/TV's capabilities. MinLuminance is minimum shadow brightness. MidLuminance is medium gray brightness and shouldn't be too high. The settings I used give me a great contrast and is what I personally would recommend.

Enjoy.

Thank you!! :)
For me the settings were far to bright.
On LG OLED C2 42'' I changed to
r.HDR.Display.MaxLuminance=800
r.HDR.Display.MidLuminance=8.0
r.HDR.Display.MinLuminanceLog10=-10.0

I used RTX HDR through the Nvidia app. Looked great.

This works with Win 11. But I have 10 :( No RTX HDR there...
