Does anybody else find the mouse control terrible??

Like it has some kind of weird motion smoothing effect or something. Not to mention I had to turn the sensitivity all the way to 100 AND turn my mouse DPI up to get a modicum of what feels like the movement should be. AND THEN every so often my view just randomly shoots straight up, or down, or completely backwards. Anyone else having troubles with the mouse controls?

YES. Same.

I dont know what’s happening but it feels terrible to use a mouse, I might switch to controller

I figured out the issue that was causing the view shooting straight up and down and back, I had my mouse polling rate too high for the game it seemed. And as for the rest, I really don't think it's a bug, I just think you guys designed the turning speed to be way too incredibly slow.
