Game starts in only 1/4 of the screen even when configured to fullscreen and high resolution

I thought that restaring the game after the change would help, but it didn't. When switched to windowed and then to fullscreen again the issue gets corrected but sometimes it goes back to 1/4 of the size of the screen and some "stretch lines" fill up the rest.

Goto properties of the games .exe file - (AQuietPlace-Win64-Shipping) located *:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\AQP\AQuietPlace\Binaries\Win64 then Compatibility tab, goto Change high DPI settings. Check high DPI scaling - select application.
