Solution for Almost Everything: Force DX11 API
I encountered a fatal error a lot of times and generally experienced performance issues with the GTX 1630, 1650, 1660, RTX 2060, 3060, and 4060.
Using the DX11 argument significantly improved performance, so I got better framerate and ofc a more stable game, also it helped me to eliminate fatal errors.

1. Right-click on *A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead* in your Steam library.
2. Select **Properties**.
3. In the **General** tab, locate the **Launch Options** section and enter `-dx11`.

God, I hate UE and DX12.
Thanks for the fix.

I have the same stutters with DX11. NVME SSD, 4080s, 12600kf, 32gb ddr4, win11
Just start begining. I have 59fps cap. During the first minute I have 3 stutters:
1. Drop to 55fps
2. Drop tp 58fps
3. Drop to 54fps.

I cap to 40fps.
I have 2 srtutters during first 30 sec of the game:
1. Drop to 38fps
2. Drop to 36fps

GPU usage 27%, CPU usage - 9%, RAM - 11Gb from 32, Video Ram - 5,5Gb from 16.

I made the lowest game settings, DLSS to Performance. GPU usage 17%, CPU 9%. 40 fps cap,
I still have 2 stutters during the first 30 seconds of the game
1. Drop to 37fps
2. Drop to 37fps

I tried on Linux Proton Vulkan. The same stutters with lowest graphic and all fps cap.

Thank you, this fixed all the frame rate issues I've been having! Can finally play the game super smooth now.

Post some videos with a frame time graph. Every time there is stutter in a game people claim it fixes it for them, and it never is true when tested.

I have more fps with dx11 but I have more stuttering. I run it on a gtx1660
