Option to disable tinnitus sound effect.
I've watched a few people play the game, and I've noticed the game features a tinnitus sound effect.

I have tinnitus, and just by watching gameplay I'm already turned down from playing this game. Also, the people I've watched also mentioned there should be an option to disable this sound effect.

In my opinion, as a general accessibility guideline, games should not have tinnitus sound effects (or white flashbangs) , and should opt to use different signifiers to get the point across, preferably ones that don't hurt their players' senses.

Watched it on a stream and it gave me an instant headache and my ears hurt. Thought about buying it myself, but no. Won't do it after hearing that.

I'm not interested after watching, and still watching (in the background) a stream of someone playing it.

But if I was that noise would be a deal breaker, it's literally painful to me.
A developer of this app has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

How did you guys think this was a good development choice? I'm genuinely curious as someone who watched it on stream and honestly don't understand what the hell the devs were thinking.

Thank you! I was just coming on here to ask if there was a way to turn it off, as I'm interested in the game, but have tinnitus too.
