Help: The steam install folder is currently not writable which can cause some issues with steam
This has happened to me for the past 2 days, steam support tried to help me with some solutions but none of them seem to work:

-An antivirus is blocking it, i disabled and deleted my Avast software but didn't work

-Go to command prompt and copy and paste this in
("C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\bin\SteamService.exe" /repair), nothing

-Uninstall and re-install steam, nothing

-Let steam past firewall, nothing

-Go into downloads and clear cache, nothing

Now i'm thinking this is just my hdd failing, but i don't want to go through the process of getting a fresh one yet, if any of you guys have any solutions please help, thanks.

If not you can always try and format the hardrive and reinstall everything, also another thing is when you reinstall steam you need to make the steam folder is completely erased from your computer before reinstalling
