Which software is most accurate for measuring CPU temps ?
Because I used HW monitor,NZXT cam and aida64 when doing a aida64 test and hw monitor was giving a higher reading than the others I was reading off the cpu package. Am i just not reading the right bit of information ?

Hello again :D i use RealTemp just for CPU and MSI afterburner for GPU temp but MSI Afterburner has an graph for your CPU temperatures aswell.

Right just did a test with real temp using aida64 with gpu-ram-and other things testing and i got a max temp of 78c with a corsair h80i v2. is that ok or too hot ?

With heavy load its acceptable but since youre using water cooling its littlebit on the hot side, have you aplied your thermal paste correctly?

But 78c isn't that bad but try to aim max 70c.

I also have 4 case fans

I am also trying to get a good fan curve but i dont know if this is good? CPU fan 1 = 20% fan speed at 30c (538RPM), 40% fan speed at 60c (928RPM), 85% fan speed at 70c (1426RPM),100% at 90c (1685RPM) I also have the other cpu fan set to this as well is this not agressive enough ?

I am trading in my h80i v2 for a H100I V2 from a friend thanks for all of the suggestions guys :)

Personally, I use MSI Afterburner because it shows my GPU temps when I overclock and my CPU temps at the same time. Simply put, it's ez.
