Glitch in Oblivion. PLEASE HELP!
I have a glitch with a DLC ,Shivering Isles. On the quest "The Lady of Paranoia" where you call Herdir's assistance to torture people is glitched. How? Every time I tell him to torture someone, he sprays some magic on the person but does not seem to affect the person and he continues on doing this every 7 seconds. I'm even able to talk to them and they act like its all normal. Please help, I don't want to start over everything. I looked up this glitch up on Google but have found nothing. I'll be grateful if you help.

Are you running any mods? It's possible they could be in conflict with Shivering Isles.

A couple. I guess I'll just turn off the Shivering Isles bug mod because I think ironically it just causes more bugs.

one option is to use the console to advance the quest, look for the right comnad on the ES wiki
