Can't see anything when I play oblivion

When i start up oblivion, I can see the menu's and everything fine but as soon as I start a new game, i cannot see my character to set up what he looks like and none of the world loads. I mean, I spawn in the game (by the sounds of the guy ingame, I am in prison), and i cannot see anything at all.. its all just black. Can anybody help me here?

Please don't tell me this is yet another ♥♥♥♥♥♥ port by bethseda.. -.-

Try dissabling HDR Lighting in the launcher options

thanks for the reply, i managed to fix this by re-installing the nVidia drivers... weird how they seem to need re-installing every now and then

I believe that Xpadder[xpadder.com] works quite well with this game.

i have this problem yet i still cant see anything. i have intel hd 4000 and tried the hdr and i have no clue how to reinstall the driver help?
