The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Game of the Year Edition (2009)

Kill commands and mission requirements
If you use a kill command on a person say during a thieves guild quest does it fail the misson as in does it break the rules of not killing anyone in the misson

I don't think it counts against you but it breaks the concept to pieces, you are supposed to be a thief that is so good you just don't get caught, and the Kill command can be considered cheating.
I was wondering just incase I get into a sticky situation and I was wondering this for awhile never tried it out.

During the Thieves guild quests only specific NPCs are not supposed to be killed and if they are you will have to pay a bloodprice for killing them in order to progress, but you won't fail the mission.

You will only be kicked out of the guild for attacking or stealing from other guild members, but not for killing other NPC's. You will only have to pay a blood price as I mentioned.
