The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Game of the Year Edition (2009)

Is it possible to get the other DLCs through steam without buying oblivion again?
Right so, I mistakenly bought the game of the year edition without checking if it had the other DLCs like horse armor, den of theives and so on. Is it possible to get those without buying the version of oblivion with it?

Yeah. I was stupid enough and bought the GOTY Edition and not the GOTY Deluxe Edition even though I had enough money. When I go to buy GOTY Deluxe is says already have it, although I KNOW I don't. Can someone help us?

You can contact Steam Support. They will remove the game from your account so you can buy the Deluxe Edition. You will NOT get your money back. The other option would be to buy them from the official site http://www.elderscrolls.com/oblivion/dlc/ . Download the files put them into oblivion folder and voilà you've got the Deluxe Edition.

the only thing you're missing out on is Mehrunes Razor anyway, and it's pretty short, the others are just houses, download some mods instead

Hm.. Since Oblivion is not a VAC game, can i just download the addons and put them in my game folder? Or will i get banned for that crap?

Modify away, I have installed many mods etyc and there is no penalty. In fact steam supports i with things like wrokshop for skyrim.

The thing is that these mods are official DLCs that come with Deluxe pack. Mods are different thing

I don't think you'll get banned, it's not like it's an online game...

I want the DLCs too, but they aren't in the 'Available DLC' page for the game and they are no longer available from the official Bethseda Elder Scrolls website. But I hear that if you bought them from that website they would not work with the Steam version of the game anyway. =L

I bought the GOTY version but when I go to the Deluxe edition's page it says I already own it, so people can't get the only version with the DLC (, not like anyone would pay for the whole game again just for some little DLCs though).

Please make these available as seperate DLCs Steam, there is money to be made.

I would also buy an "expansion only + DLC pack" -- if Steam would make it compatible with the original game disk game. I'd like to buy the content, but don't want to pay again for a game I already own (especially when I bought the collector's back when it first came out in Australia at a fair amount higher than it cost in the USA). I've put thousands of hours into chars and mods and whatnot, also, and would rather not start over because the savegames aren't compatible.

I have disc based GOTY and then I bought the Knights of the Nine expansion disc(Even though it already came with GOTY edition), because it included all the Official DLC. They left out one DLC though, Battlehorn castle. It's amusing because originally it was a pre-release giveaway. I'm not getting a whole second game just to get that one small Plugin. I would like steam to sell it seperate, so tjhat I may purchase it and finally have the whole collection of official DLC.
And no DRM attached to it, that nasty SecuRom is already all over the disc based version.

I don't understand why Steam doesn't offer a $5 upgrade pack for the Deluxe version.

For anyone that is still looking, I found that the amazon delux version of this game was like 4ish dollars I think and it included all the DLC. I know you still have to pay but it is something. It just adds to the base game. It will keep all of your saves and the like so you don't have to start a new game.

All I care about is battlehorn castle dlc, does it have that? is it disc based?
