The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Game of the Year Edition (2009)

Help? Swamp Fever
I got bitten by a damn crab... my first time, I didn't know it paralyses you, or whatever it does... but it Drain's Endurance and Drain's Strength; passively. I was close to my max wieght limit, but fine before my fight with crab. In order to move, I drank potion of feather. I have no more.
I tried dispells, and healing, and found a magika restore fountain... still under poison effect, and feather potion near end, how do I cure poison?

I'm L1 DE with Atronach sign focus on Magic.

There are several diseases in the game that can be debilitating. One that reduces Strength can be really bad. It is a good idea to to pick up spells to counter disease effects as early as possible.

Orag gra-Bargol is The Chapel of Stendarr located in Chorral sells the restore Strength spell. These types of restore spells are located in various locations.

If you have access to the Arcane University you only need to buy the Restore Strength spell and then you can use the Spellmaking Altar to create your own custom restore spells for each attribute.

You can always use Chapels to retore your attributes, but using them isn't always an option. Sometimes wraiths will hit you with drain strength then kill you while you can't move and other times your crimes will prevent you from using altars at all.

Although retore attribute spells are useful they can't cure your disease only the effects so eventually you will need to have the disease cured at an altar.
RESOLVED... After giving up trying to deal with the disease, I dropped some items of heavy nature, and made room. After fighting off some creatures around valley and mountain SE of Imperial City, I found a potion of cure disease somewhere. After removing the disease, I finally returned to where I dropped the items so to take to town, Chardonhiil i think. It was, by the way, a one time effect of the poison, not draining.

Now I know... lesson to all beginners, if you must fight the BEACH CRABS, use range or spells... but avoid em to avoid getting hit.
