`Mouse speed to high
My Basilisk mouse works fine when running on the computer. However when in game even on the lowest setting it is very quick. So much so that combat is just to quick. Also after a period the mouse moves slower.
THE PROBLEM IS THAT i CAN PLAY IT ON SLOWER SPEED WITH NO PROBLEM, BUT WHEN IT CHANGES TO THE QUICKER MOVEMENT(without any adjustment by me it becomes unplayable. Anyone have any idea about getting the mouse on a slower speed?
Also it seems to make matters I have run out of lock picks and I have no idea how to solve this problem.

Im not entirely sure about the mouse settings. But if you need more lock picks, you can buy them. From Shady Sam. Or you can do Nocturnal’s quest to permanently solve that problem. Here’s links at uesp:

You might be able to lower the mouse sensitivity even more in the oblivion.ini file, I'm not sure. Look for an option called fMouseSensitivity and try changing it to 0.0001.

There may also be software from your mouse manufacturer that lets you change the mouse speed or DPI at the driver level, independent from the mouse sensitivity in Windows settings. You could lower that and then increase your windows mouse sensitivity to compensate. Oblivion uses raw mouse input so the Windows setting wouldn't affect it.
