Question about Bows & Arrows?
Both bows and arrows have different metal types and damage amounts.

How is the damage calculated?

Are high quality arrows damaged capped by a lower material based bow? Or the reverse?

And do I need a higher metal type of 'both' arrows and bow to hurt creatures that are immune to iron & steel like ghosts?

Damage by bows & arrows should be calculated with the following equation as far as I can tell.

BaseWeaponDamage * 0.5 *
( 0.75 + Agility * 0.005 ) *
( 0.2 + ModifiedSkill * 0.015 ) *
( WeaponHealth/MaxWeaponHealth + 1 )/2

I'm not sure if the quality of the bow has any effect on the damage cap of arrows, but i wouldn't think so.

Creatures like Ghosts that are immune to normal weapons can only be damaged by using Silver or Daedric weapons and magic spells.

They can also be damaged by any magically enchanted weapon or by any arrow that is fired with a silver, daedric, or a magically enchanted bow and a magically enchanted arrow fired by any bow.
