How can a thief heal afflictions?
I can't use any of the altars because the gods despise theives apparently ... and a cure disease potion does nothing because it's not a disease. I think it was a wisp that did some permanent damage to my character, -9 endurance and -31 luck to me.

walk the Way of The Nine (Knights of the Nine alters) and you will be forgiven, allowing you to use chapel alters.

OK, you need restore attribute stuff - potions of restore endurance and restore luck, respectively. (-31?? ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥)

Sounds like he may have forgotten to wear Ancotar's Ring of Protection when doing the quest Zero Visability to remove the invisibility spell from Aleswell Inn. I have never seen anything else that reduced luck by so much.

I suggest going to the Chapel of Dibella in Anvil to buy the restore luck spell from Trevaia to restore your luck, then you can use the spellmaking altar at the Arcane University to create custom spells to restore all of the attributes so you don't have to depend on Chapels to restore your damaged attributes.

Each Chapel sells a restore spell for an attribute, but it is better to just create your own. I usually make a custom spell to restore 3 pts for 5 sec on self for each attribute. If your restoration skill is high enough you can make a single spell that restores all attributes simultaneously.

Thanks everybody... weird, I have never run into anyone who sells spells at chapels. Tried finding/crafting restoring potions, but no luck yet. Alchemy is almost 50 so hopefully that will help. Didn't hitting 50 reveal the third effect for ingridients?

Yeah all the chapels have one person that will sell restore spells, but they are on a schedule so their shop isn't always open for business.

I used the construction set to add enchantments to one of Arnora's Amulets from the quest Two Sides of the Coin in Bruma that will Cure Disease and restores all attributes by 1 point a second for the cost of 20 magicka a second.

That way you just equip the amulet to cure your disease and restore all attributes while it drains your magicka as a balance.
