Be careful with modding
I think this goes without saying for any moddable game but you should be very careful about modding your game. I am posting this in the Oblivion forums instead of anywhere else because I modded my once pirated copy to death lol. I first pirated Oblivon to try it out and enjoyed it and decided to see what the mods had to offer. I ended up getting a lil mod happy and after one certain mod download (Think it was a major combat overhaul) the game would not start again. I tried to delete it and reinstall it but it wouldn't even delete the game so I had a broken pirated copy of Oblivion on my laptop for what seemed like forever. Lucky for me Oblivion has gone on sell so I decided to buy it legit and lo and behold, the game works now. So remember boys and girls, be careful with modding or you might end up stuck with a broken game forever.

I have modded my game with a ton of mods without much issue. You won't have a problem if you read the instructions and install everything correctly and use the right load order.

A good few rules when modding a game is to:

A) Always back up your saves.
B) Keep track of what mods you install, as well as instructions on how to uninstall them if they aren't downloaded from the Steam Workshop.
C) Only do one mod at a time, so you can tell if adding a certain mod into the mix breaks everything.

Also: A friendly reminder that any mention or talk of piracy is strictly forbidden on the Steam Discussions. Don't do it again.
