Menu's are messed up

I've been playing Oblivion since it came out years ago and just brought it on here, my menus are completely ♥♥♥♥♥♥ and most selections don't even show up, it's pretty much unplayable because I can't use my inventory or even the esc menu. I've tired connecting a controller too and it doesn't even work.. Any help would be much appriciated.

Are you trying to say that you can't use your keyboard, but you can use your mouse while ingame?

Are you trying to say that you can't use your keyboard, but you can use your mouse while ingame?

In the main menu and in all the ingame menu's every single button/tab's hit box so to say, aren't were they are meant to be, my keyboard and mouse work fine in-game but as I said, no options are actually clickable. E.G. In the main menu, if I hover my mouse over 'New Game' the button should be placed exactly ontop of where it says new game, but the actual clickable part is either above the text and invisible or I can't even click on it. If that makes any sense? And in-game most of the options for the inventory aren't clickable what so ever and the esc menu is non existant.

Did you try reinstalling the game? Verifying the game integrity cache? Try doing it a couple of times. Make sure you delete the Oblivion folder in your My Documents/My Games. If you don't know what I'm talking about I'll explain it to you.

I just deleted the oblivion folder in my games, verified the integrity and it works perfectly now, thank you soooo much dude!

I'm glad you got it to work for you. It was probably just a minor error that came with installing.
