help please
i'm just starting oblivion and I seem to be stuck in sanctum the guards won't move forward, stuck in a hall way with the king. what to do?

I suggest you Install the unofficial patches and then restart.

Another thing you can try is to teleport the king forward.

Go further into the zone and then enter these commands into console:

prid 32a18
moveto player

Teleporting NPCs sometimes fixes their glitched scripts.

i did download the patches off nexus. i think the teleport might just work thanks

You must have entered the commands wrong.

prid(space)32a18

moveto(space)player.

no i never did enough to get them to move,never entered the sewers, but it,solved now

I hope I'm not too late. There is a bug where the NPC's won't move if you are X ammount of distance ahead of them in their track. Move behind them and they SHOULD start walking again. HOPE THIS HELPS!
