[Solved] Knights of the nine pilgrinage quest problem

I read on uesp wiki that i can reset again my infamy doing the pilgrimage quest again, but when I use wayshrines don't show up the right message ("Continue your penance to earn the gods' forgiveness"), instead it show up the default message (for example talos "protect the weak ecc..."). I checked various wayshrines and it's the same.

You have to make a pilgrimage if you wish to reset your infamy. That means that you have to visit wayshrines of all of the nine. However, you only need to visit one of each.

I know how it work, but it doesn't start the pilgrimage, it doesn't show up the correct popup.

Well the one message you mention I only ever see on church altars (which are just altars not wayshrines). Need to ask the obvious question as to whether your trying to use those, as those don't count. Just to clarify, all wayshrines are found outdoors in the wilderness, never in a city or church. (sorry to ask, but everytime I think someone can;t be that dumb, I get surprised)

Another possibility is that your allready on an incomplete pilgrimage, and are trying wayshrines you allread x'd off the list, somehow always missing the wayshrine you actually need.

Yes, i'm trying to use wayshrines in the wilderness. The first time i made the pilgramage every shrines always tell me "Continue your penance to earn the gods' forgiveness", even the ones I already used. I tried every shrine i encountered during my trips, but no one gave me the correct message.

you may have to try verifying game files or reinstalling.
before doing so check the datafiles and make sure you didn't turn off KoN for some reason. That's the only other reason short of corrupt file that its not working.

Uhm verifing game files it isnt a good idea for me, because i'm using a texture pack. KoN is active, now i have to defeat Umaril. It is possible that doesn't work beucase i'm a vampire?

It means that you simply didn't complete the pilgrimage. It won't show up as a popup, you just need to visit one wayshrine of each of the Nine. Just to make sure you did all of them, try following the map that the Prophet gives you.

You need to completely remove your crimes by going to prison or 0 bounty.

To be honest I'd have to research that one, as to whether it is a factor. I don;t think it should interfere thou.

Searched on the net and it seems that gods don't care about vampirism lol
