Also, just got a quest "A Door in Niben Bay", saying I heard a rumour from someone... While I'm in a random forest... with no one around... Either I'm insane (hearing voices) or I have very good hearing.
dude just delete ur post, or risk other people finding out how stupid you are.
Since when did they make a horrible game?
lol the only bad thing about Bethesda games,is the engine they use as it's buggy as hell.
but they make great games.
All company's are in it for the money, you don't think they make games out of the godness of there heart now do you?
But at least with Bethesda games you know there going to be good.
The door in Niben Bay is for the Shivering Isles expansion. It was placed there by a god, so hearing voices could be a good option ;) I would not recommend going in there when you are just starting.. Try to explore Cyrodiil first a bit.
I didn't say it was a horrible game.
If they were truly interested in making good games they would have taken the time to release the dlc in an immersive way, or taken the time to make better looking facial models or fixed the NPCs who speak in different voices. But they didn't because making good games isn't their top priority. Making a profit is.
Better facial models. This was made a long time ago, and as such, there was probably limits to how well they could make graphics (that's why games from a long time ago don't have extreme realistic graphics like today, they were limited back then).
Fixing NPCs with different voices. I'm partially conceding that but I will leave a note, it does sound pretty funny so maybe they left it in for that reason? I would probably have asked the community about fixing it though. But, there's always the possibility something more important came up than fixing silly voices.
Sidenote: you may not have SAID that it was a horrible game, but it was somewhat implied (intentionally or not) that you thought it was bad. "making GOOD games isn't their top priority" implying you may think that.
I'm not planning on touching any of the dlc until I get more familiar with the game though.
I'm using the character overhaul 2 mod. Makes the faces better to look at.
I have always seen Oblivion as the goofy one between the depressing atmosphere of Morrowind and the seriousness of Skyrim. And somehow i like it. So when a female beggar speaks with a old woman voice at first and then a normal female voice, i just laugh and pretend she is a fraud.

In my opinion every facial model looks better in morrowind than in oblivion and these don't include the real potato heads of oblivion. These are the good ones.
