The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Game of the Year Edition (2009)

Does Oblivion music get copyright struck on YouTube?
Does anyone happen to know if they copyright strike videos that use the Oblivion music on YouTube, like in the Oblivion conversation meme videos. I can't find a definitive answer.

Thanks!

Well there are official music videos for the various soundtracks for Oblivion and other TES games that are auto generated by YouTube, but afaik there's no indication that you'll get copyright warning since these aren't from "real" artists.

Thanks, that's what I was thinking too.
if youve used it, would you mind letting me know if this theory still stands true?
People still use oblivion music in most videos this day so I'd say the answer is no.

i haven't regularly used YouTube since the end of 2023, but you can intentionally upload music from Oblivion as a video and see for yourself. before uploading, YouTube will scan the audio for any copyrighted music, and if there's a match in their database (provided by record labels and other entities ofc) then you'll get a copyright claim.
