Game Crashing

So my game closes itself after like five minutes or so of playing. I tried changing the resolution but I won't change at all. Anyone know a fix to this?

Go to the folder where you installed the game. Find the Oblivion_default.ini
Open it and find the values for iSize W= , iSize H= . Change the values to what you want your resolution to be. In this case iSize W=1920 , iSize H=1080

While doing this, right click the ini and choose properties. Ensure read only is not checked off. Change it if it is. Now do the above.

It happens to me from time to time too, just yestereday my quicksaves corrupted too and I lost a couple levels of progress so I make manual saves more often now

"Game closes itself" has nothing to do with the resolution. More information required.
And quicksave corruption is an entirely different issue (to avoid it by saving manually only is the only way to avoid it completely and with 100% certainty indeed).
