The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Game of the Year Edition (2009)

How many game saves do you have (on one playthrough)?
Just curious to see how many game saves people have on average. How long have you been playing on your play through and how many game saves do you currently have?

I have personally logged over 130 hrs on my current play through and am on game save #297.

Edit: Referring specifically to the save # labeled on your most recent save file, rather than how many saves are listed for you.

Not many cause bethesda games don't like alot of save files, I turned off all the autosaves and use quicksave and manual save only

I use manual saves, and use the console to name them then rotate them "save_1" (to 5) + "Level_up" + "sell_loot" etc. This way I can always get back to specific (recent) points if I need to and I don't have excessive saved files.

If you keep hundreds of saves in your save folder you risk crashes and corrupted files. If you really want to save them all then i believe you would be well advised to move them in blocks to a differently named holding folder.
I will typically put about 250 hours into the game, and around 1500 or so saves. i probably keep around 100 or so saves, overwriting old saves rather than having the higher number.

My current play is about 130 hrs, and i just passed my 800th save.
