The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Game of the Year Edition (2009)

GamePass Vs shelling 80-90$
What are we thinking bois, I still have 3 moths of GamePass on one hand, but I really like steam as my main platform.

What's everyone's choice?

Gamepass is great,. why wouldn't you have it? lol
I’m fairly sure someone will come yell at you for the blatant piracy announcement. I don’t personally care either way- just saying they do that sometimes.
Secondly- I know people with ocd that CAnNOT play another game until they get 100%. Or other such craziness… but there are more than a few people that will buy games just to GET some achievements.

I will buy it First day on Steam.
A Game that i Play more than 100h is Worth my Money

I think that your pricing is a wild guess.

One day it will be off gaypass and you might still want to play it. Also I don't do subscriptions.
Buy only for me. I do not use subscription services (apart from my ISP) and I want to own games, not rent them.

Gamepass no. If it's $80+ also no. I'll just wait for Skyblivion instead. If it's reasonably priced then my preferred platform would be GOG but Steam is fine too.

I'm old school I like to OWN things; granted steam still isn't totally OWNING something but it sure is better than a subscription... when possible I get on GOG because I am sure then I will have the install files as-is I can keep locally. if not well... I tend to go arrr arrr because it is the best way to keep things for yourself without enduring the whims of platforms like Steam or, worse, Gamepass

EDIT: I also miss physical releases... there are still some big boxes but 1. they are overpriced and not really the normal release and 2. they just give you a key for a steam download anyway instead of actually providing the game on a real physical media...

Depending on the gameplay we see today I might do neither and wait for mods

my logic is this: Gamepass NO. ridiculous price on steam or gog? NO. reasonable price on GOG or Steam? YES, with a preference for GOG.
To be clear for a non physical release of game, I consider anything above 40 USD for AAA title ridiculous. for a physical release with proper goodies I'd push to 50-60USD max. It's game after all not really a necessity for life...

And that is why I’m always several years behind and buying games when they are like 10 bucks. I figure 300 full-priced games, waited down from 60 to 10 bucks, that’s 15,000 you saved.
Of course you’d probably. Or buy all 300 IF you paid full price- but cheap, patient gaming is just spiffy.

Gamepass and ea access can be great if you use them in short-bursts- they make money off you forgetting you have it.

Mind that Skyblivion is based on Skyrim, which means that the gameplay is different to Oblivion. They simply can't port that 1:1 to Skyrim.

If the game doesn't interest me 100%, I buy later as well. But, if there's something which I'm really hyped about, I also buy full price.

Again, though, no price has been revealed, so, before I get my panties in a bunch over it...
I’ll go full price if it’s a potential 10 but those are rare enough for me that I can usually be super-cheap.

I would if it was implemented on Steam, not going through the garbage Xbox app.
I was like that, but it's actually pretty decent these days. Hasn't bothered me recently.
