GamePass Vs shelling 80-90$

What are we thinking bois, I still have 3 moths of GamePass on one hand, but I really like steam as my main platform.

What's everyone's choice?

I'd never ever get gamepass. I'd rather wait for a discount on steam in that case.

Basically boils down to subscription vanilla vs Mods.

I know man but I can't wait for a discount, people are gonna spoil this game like crazy on the first week, and shelling 100 CAD on this really hurts.

add taxes to that, in canada it's 90+ taxes, which is like a 100.

I don't really use mods and if I do I lose interest in the game, it's wether to play on GamePass garbage app or here but pay a lot

game pass. because starfield was absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in everyway. Graphically,Performance, Mechanics and Story decisions.

I would pay 80€ for it without thinking, it would be still a good "€ / game time" ratio.

I have no need to use that crap at all that I bought a new laptop last year, came free with 3 months gamepass (if I signed up to a MS account) that I deleted the OS, installed a pirated LTSC win 11 and never claimed the gamepass at all.
If I am not even gonna own a game, just rent it I might as well just pirate it, no DRM at all and play it and delete it. Same difference but less hassle.

Anyway if you have a few months free of it you might as well just use the months, play the game and if you really then want to own it, buy it on a steam sale later on.
Not unless you care about steam achievements etc but who cares about that crap.
