Unless I'm mistaken that '5 years' estimate was from xbox's Phill Spencer and it was in the summer of 2023. Which I guess still would put it in 2028. That being said I think that that estimate was made assuming people would care about Starfield for more than a month.

Both Todd Howard and Pete Hines of Bethesda gave interviews in the couple of months after Starfield that gave the impression that things were moving on TES6. Todd Howard said that 55% of the devs were still on Starfield which would mean around 150 devs were likely moved over to TES6. 150 is too many for pre production so I think it's safe to assume they're well and truly in the building phase now.

Fallout 76 - 2018 (even though it wasn't a full 'A team' project it cleary slowed down production on main team's project)

That cadence I tend to believe that late 2027 could absolutely happen. Although yeah, if I was betting my house on it I'd say 2028.

Yeah 2028 is pretty realistic. They started tes 6 actual development in summer of 2023. Skyrim took 3 years since beginning of development. We're almost 2 years into tes 6, which id bet will be longer development than Skyrim. So 5 years and 2028 is pretty likely for it.
