The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Game of the Year Edition (2009)

Remake, not remaster
I heard this was pencilled for 2022, but they decided on a remake and pushed it back. I cant say for sure if that means this year...but it is 20yrs old next yr, so might make sense to release then. But main point is - this is likely a remake, in unreal, with new assets etc (because of the game engine)

It says remaster on the box but yeah, it seems like more of a remake to me.

Bethesda probably assign more value to the word 'remake' and wouldn't want an outside studio remaking their games. Their FO3 remake will be marketed as a remake.

It’s called remastered and virtuous makes remasters they did dark souls
Remastered not a stupid remake and remakes suck anyway

Looks way more than a remaster bud
Feels like they've undersold it by calling it a remaster but the quality speaks for itself so it shouldn't matter. It's definitely more of a remake but I think a lot of things have simply been remastered so maybe that's why they've gone down that route.

It's not. It's as much as a remaster as GTA definitive edition were, which also changed some of the gameplay like aiming.
