The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Game of the Year Edition (2009)

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Game of the Year Edition (2009)

If they shadow drop the oblivion remake then that means they have NO confidence in it
Fans have been pining for a remaster to ANY Bethesda game and yet they wont reveal anything. think of how much hype and nostalgia can be generated for the game.

yet the withhold it, any marketer would be dying to show an remastered Elder scrolls game to the world. IF It was any good... A hacked together UE5 remake the has all the soul ripped out of it would worry customers so the shadow drop it. making players buy long before they realize that the wool has been pulled over them.

when players finally see the probable poor FPS, washed-out graphics and dare I say censored and modified content. they would already have parted with there money and have been made fools.

YE mortal fools below know thy contentedness and weep.

No, the shadow drop leak was 100% done by Bethesada for publicity.

Don't buy it if you have no faith in it. You're here to die on a hill alone.
Many of us will buy it. You're not changing anyone's mind here.

*We the Borg will buy it.
Honestly - I say the opposite.

They had such confidence, they tried to get you to buy something while barely even showing it to you, when the product in itself is roughly 80% visual experience.

Imagine selling a burger just from a cropped picture of the sesame bun and nothing else for like 2 weeks, and then saying "You can buy this burger now". That's some confidence in counting your chickens while the eggs are being laid (not just before being hatched, as you wouldn't even know if the burger is beef or not/what's on it - and they expect you to buy it).

don't worry they will shadow drop it then expect to charge you additional 70 to 100 bucks for use of some sorta creation mod kit ... gota milk that dead cow
Oh God- I forgot about how that creation club is in their games now. Seeing that in oblivion will feel odd. Oh the horse armor references will start now….

Be a stream which will give info that is not a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ “ shadow drop “

A shadow drop is when a product is released immediately after its announcement. The remaster hasn't been officially announced yet and if it is released directly after tomorrows reveal, that is literally the dictionary definition of a shadow drop.
To be fair- the remake-remaster mistake happens to a lot of us.

Shadowdropped was always a term for “releasing a game without announcing it”, but when enough people screw up a word the definition has, by definition changed I suppose. It’s like how “grifter” has suddenly become “anyone who is lying” when it used to be more specific to conning or conning by making the victim come to you rather than finding them.

Jesus you're just a barrel of fun aren't you? Christ. I mean, don't buy it if you don't want to -- you're just doom-and-glooming based on nothing and you're trying to rope us into your misery.

Skyrim has been remastered into (pun intended) oblivion and as much hate as the recent iterations have been getting, it still plays well.

You're blowing this out of proportion for the sake of...what?? Attention, I'm guessing. Well you certainly got it, sir. Congratulations.

No it’s a “surprise release without announcement “ tomorrow is the announcement and we have been alerted today about tomorrow so it’s no longer a surprise not a “shadow drop”

It’s been announced it’s no longer a surprise so there for it can’t be a “shadow drop “
That sounds about right.
