What is the evidence the remaster is real ?
XBOX chat bot could just have grabbed info from the internet.
Images leaked look like they are for an internal pitch meeting for the game.
Some shady individuals with shady past claiming insider info and release is real ? A late April fools joke?

Not lot to go on. Please convince me, I want it to be real.

there are listings in bing search

type:

"Oblivion" site:https://www.virtuosgames.com

you will find at least 3 links with different languages stating "Oblivion Remaster" on the official site from Virtuos - but if you click the link, there is a 404 error and the site itself is not working.

If the leaked pictures are real - and the virtuos-website went down because of that, they now closed these sites and made them unavailable.

But still - the search-listings in bing are still up!

Even if it exist, there is no evidence for a close release date.
Next year is the 20th anniversary, I would say this could be the release date.

I believe the remaster could be real, but a close release date I see no evidence for. Pictures leaked could just have been for internal consumption.

Could be, though that fact nobody has said ANYTHING, is odd. They are all aware of this, it's plastered all over the internet, and I suspect they have gotten many e-mails, but there is no official statment one way or another. We have to wait what... 8 hours from from the suspected time of release.

This forum is gonna get real fun later today.

I am going out on a limb and saying that this wasn't a leak at all. I think Bethesada/Microsoft is trying a new weird advertising campaign to see how many copies can sell without actually advertising anything. They probably released the "leaked" information to see what could probably spread through word of mouth and all the Youtube videos from high sub count channels making videos of it.

But i strikes me as odd - because the virtuos site really went down,
on bing-search are still listings for Oblivion Remaster on the official Virtuos-Site...

and a shadow-drop on Easter-Monday just seems uncommon.

Whatever is going on behind the scenes...
I don't think it really was intentional.

But of course, they could adopt their marketing strategies to the circumstances!

I am just going to say if it doesn't come out later today than it is a unintentional leak but if it does come out yeah this was just advertisement crap. Yeah it all seems weird and technically I am coming off as a conspiracy theorist here. All I know is for sure is I am taking a wicked dump when the time of judgment comes later today.

Well - as i said - i think the remaster/remake could be real... given the bing-search listings.

But i don't see it shadow dropping today!

I would be surprised if we even get a trailer for this today...

so what is a reasonable time window when you guys are ready to accept that there was no remake and it's never coming ? 2 weeks ? a month , 2026 ?

Even if it comes out the 21st could just be on Xbax as a timed exclusive before it comes to everything else as they own Todd the Liar now..

Wouldn't get your hopes up it'll be on PC tomorrow and if it unreal 5 there won't be mod tools to create extensive mods to fix how broken it is...
