i doubt it, they milked the ever living crap outta skyrim ain't no way all of a sudden the game that actually started dlc controversy is meant to be free. would be a great surprise though. so here's to hoping.
I highly doubt it, the only reason it happened with skyrim remastered was because it wasn't really remastered, it was just a port with gameworks attached. This time it looks like a lot of effort went into changing the entire game so they aren't giving that up for free.

Well that and Skyrim dev cycle (so dlc and updates) was only like 2 years old and Skyrim was still the talked about game at the time, so re releasing it within 2 years of the hype as full price would have been dumb af and everyone would have roasted Bethesda for it.

If the remaster exists, there's zero chance anyone gets it for free, I'd bet my entire life savings on that.

There's no way it would be free, they wouldn't make any money because everyone already owns Oblivion.
Imagine if this were true. No wars. No poverty. Neo Typhoon Alpha doesn’t make bait posts. And Bethesda gives away their best games for free. Wake me up when it come true :steambored:

Owners of Oldrim(OG Skyrim and it's dlcs), or Legendary Edition received Skyrim Special Edition for free.

Yes, and scroll up to see why. This was addressed.

It was released 2 years after the Dev cycle of Skyrim (meaning dlc and patches) and was simply moving the game to the 64 bit engine.

If they didn't give it for free to people who had just bought the game in the last 2 years, it would have been a pr nightmare.

Zero chance they give this one for free. I bet you a brand new 80 dollar game (or the remaster if it turns out it's not free) that it won't be given away for free, if it even exists.

Care to take the bet?

Someone is super high on Moon sugar if they think we're getting a new / remake title for free.
