The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Game of the Year Edition (2009)

If you haven't bought Oblivion yet...
Nows your chance. If the Remaster is real, the original may get delisted.

I have zero trust in current Bethesda and fully expect it to be worse than the original. if the game has creation club-- who am I kidding, of course it does. Maybe not at release but it'll definitely be there. If Bethesda hasn't figured out yet how to "add" content to the creation club without updating their game and breaking mods, I'm not going to purchase it.

if this was even remotely the case, you wouldnt be able to buy OG skyrim anymore. stop fearmongering.

(link to og skyrim to prove my point: https://store.steampowered.com/app/72850/The_Elder_Scrolls_V_Skyrim/)

Such nonsense. The original isn't going to become inaccessible, you can still buy and play OG Skyrim.

OP said DELISTED not removed/inaccessible.
There's a huge difference and yes OG Skyrim is unlisted from the store it says even on the store page link itself.

delisted means CANNOT BUY. you CAN buy it. unlisted does not mean you cannot buy it.

I own oblivion and skyrim via GOG.com and I also have offline installer.

Right? I had a physical copy back in the day, and at some point I made a rip from that original GOTY disc, in case Steam/internet somehow one day becomes completely unavailable. So long as I at least have electricity, I will always be able to play Oblivion with my specific setup of mods (have all of those backed up too).

delisted means CANNOT BUY. you CAN buy it. unlisted does not mean you cannot buy it.

Wrong. "No longer available" is when a game no longer can be bought like some games have this Notice on steam page (example: Sleeping Dogs og). Wording it exactly like that. Not saying anything that it's "delisted"

And there are ones that are flatout removed (not accessible even from direct link) instead simply delisted from the store querry.

Delisting is just that. Removing game from being listed in the store querry but you can still buy it with direct link.

Also.. semantics:

Word "Delisted" means = was listed, now removed.

While word "Unlisted" means = it was never listed

So either way "unlisted" is an incorrect term to refer to games that was on store front but became hidden from said store front after some time.

The more you know ;)
