The limited voice acting isn't that bad of a problem, and easily addressed with AI if they wanted.
But the voice acting was funny, bruma especially because basically everyone there are nords so it's the same voice actor talking to eachother.
It had its charm for awhile but not to long of hearing the same person talk to themselves about how they hate mud crabs.
I think you are correct on the use of AI but it does take time so possible they skipped it. If it is an overlay of UE5 handling the graphics while the creation engine handles the game play it would have the same janky issues it had on release. That path could lend itself to an ease of mod use though which can solve a lot of the problems in vanilla.
10 AM seems to be a common release time so I will throw that in as my guess.
I ain't gonna pay for something just to be 'shinier'. My old copy still works just fine, and I played it just a few days ago.
