Is there a way to have multiple summons?
Besides using mods (because one or more of the mods I was using kept corrupting my save so I had to go back a to an earlier save multiple times) is there a way to have multiple summons? Like maybe a glitch or something? I heard if you have Frostcrag Spire you can get a permanent atronach companion and you can summon something else

There might be a way to change a setting that limits you to one summon, but I dont know it offhand.

I know you dont want to use mods, but I was able to make my own crappy mod by just editing an esp so the summon has some MP and access to a lesser summon spell. I really liked the Clanfear summons attacks so I usually gave the higher level summons summon clanfear. I also gave the spider daedra the ability to summon baby spiders. kinda lame that wasnt already possible. I also gave the lich an ability to summon lesser skeletons. I think I made the Dremora Lord able to summon the daedra spider which could summon the baby spiders. it was really cool.

Whoa sounds like an awesome mod! Gotta love when modders do Bethesda's job:steamhappy:. Mind if I ask, since you have experience with Oblivions code and whatnot, could not manually going back a save just before you die effect my saves? Like lets say I die to a troll and I just let the game send me back to the latest save instead of pausing, pressing load and going back to a prev save, could that effect my saves integrity? As I read that it's apparently bad to let the game do that and it could maybe corrupt ones game.
