The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Game of the Year Edition (2009)

Does run smoothly on Windows 11?
Hi,
I'm thinking about getting this game, but I'm not sure if it runs smoothly on Windows 11.
Are there any known issues, or does it work without major problems?

Yeah, I've been modding it on Linux, and it will eventually lose FPS stability over around an hour and a half. Then I have to restart from my last save after leaving the game. Still looking for potential solutions to that, but no luck so far.

The game suffers from a memory leak or something else, so there's not much you can do other than restarting the game every now and then. I've modded my game to be as optimized as it can get (even went out of my way to get DXVK Async and undervolted my CPU using ThrottleStop) and the fps over time still gets worse, especially if I enter many new areas and/or do things that make performance lower.

I had a feeling it could be something like that. I also did everything I could to optimize everything short of knowing how to manually clean (can do auto) with xedit, but so long as I try everything I can in the end, it'll have to do. Thanks for the insight.
