a) First manually download OOO (and the optionals that you want).
b) Create a folder called "data".
c) Unzip evertyhing from OOO into data. It should look like this for example: "/data/texture", "/data/meshes" and "/data/ Oscuro's_Oblivion_Overhaul.bsa"
d) zip/rar the data folder. Name it to OOO 1.35.rar
e) open up NMM and select "add mode from file"
f) activate the file.
g) archive invalidation (its under the toolbox)
h) use BOSS
Voilia.

Now you can either install with Wrye or OMM, since I dont use Wrye's installer unzip the largets Oscuro's zip, it should give you a .bsa file, once you do that just double click on it which should open OMM, and click on Extract all, put those file in Oblivion/Data next very carefully read the instructions and put the .esp files of the rest of the zip's in your Oblivion/Data Folder and voila, I think.
I know its not Skyrim :) and what I did suggest works very well.. The tutorial video is for the Nexus mod manager and if you structure your files in a zip, as I wrote above, NMM will understand what to to do. Please try it out or just edit your post - its not so good to spread more disinformation of how to use mods.
Wrye bash is ofc to prefer but according to the internet its a program thats hard for beginners to grasp (I blame the silly instructions manul that cant be seen as the most...eh... pedagogic work)
Also, Ive the instructions written down at Nexus* and thus far Ive not yet gotten any negative feedback :)
