Overencumbered and can't move

As the title says, I'm overencumbered and can't move. How do I drop items. I'm using a keyboard and mouse, and I have no idea how to drop items. Does anyone know how to drop unwanted items?

Oh i took the items to the center and keep it there untill it droped

@Red John: Thanks dude, I'll have to write this down and keep it close to my PC in case I forget.

@Spider Gamer: Not sure what you mean dude. This stuff was in my inventory, and when you get overencumbered TESIV: Oblivion, you are litterally stuck in place. You can't move until you lighten your load a little. The problem is that you can't find the controls for dropping items in the control menu, that's why I posted this thread, heck it's not even listed in the manual.

@cbiocca He is meaning there is kind of a 2nd way to drop stuff you can drag the item from the inventory to the center of the screen. When you let go of the mouse button its droped but you are still holding it in the air this is a slower way of doing it than just Holding Shift and clicking like @Red John said. :)

@KillingZone53: Ah, okay. Thanks for the clarification on that. I'll try that next time I'm over encumbered and twenty steps from the nearest convenient chest.
