Yes, i believe there are stones scattered around similar to skyrims which you can change your birthsign please correct me if i am wrong.
Yes you can. Just type this command into console.

showbirthsignmenu

I usually start the game using the Warrior and once I cap my Strength and Endurance I change my birthsign to the Thief so I can max those last 10 points to Str/End that the Warrior birthsign granted.

So, this one won`t reset my character stats or i will need to do save/load kind of thing?
I have never had a problem with showbirthsignmenu altering my character appearance or stats other than from the stats the birthsign changes, unlike the way using showracemenu does which requires using the save/load method to avoid it.

If you are using a custom birthsign mod that adds a fatigue bonus to your birthsign, it might cause an infinite fatigue problem when changing birthsigns.

No, i`m not using any mods to change them.
Thank you for your information, really appreciate it.

That worked for me, thank you ever so much!

I can confirm it. Birthsign changed, its effect working, no attribute or skill corrupted!
For those curious, the reason changing birthsign doesn't FUBAR your character the way changing race/class does, is because all stat effects from birthsigns are applied as an effect, rather than as a direct change to the attributes. In that way, they are akin to wearing equipment with a fortify effect. Class based attribute changes are direct modifiers as are the changes made by race.
Someone else also mentioned the standing stones, which there are ones that iirc allow you to take a different/additional birthsign.

Works in the Remastered version as well, no stats corrupted as far as I can see. Kudos!
I was unable to switch from Atronach to thief, unfortunately even after making the switch it does not apply the effects nor take away stunted magicka.

The stones do not actually change your birth sign, they do, however grant you the "Greater Power" of the birth sign for the particular stone activated. This also gives you the spells associated with the greater power. In some cases, the power granted by the Stone is greater than the power granted if you take the sign initially. For example:- The Shadow birthsign offers invisibility for 60 seconds, while the Jone Stone offers invisibility for 120 seconds.

I have just tried this switch on an old save. It worked for me. Sorry, I have no idea why it does not work for you. A mod, perhaps; I play vanilla; but, I really do not know, this is not a console command which I have ever used before.

yea alot of the commands in original work in remaster too cause its a direct Port of the original Game code but different engine

I just wish they would add tmm 1,0,1 to both original and remaster so I can see all map icons as unexplored it will make it way easier to keep track of what I completed

the fallout games and skyrim has it so not sure why oblivion doesn't allow it

That's a very awkward way to put it. Birthsign Stones grant Greater Powers which usually - but not always - have generally-similar effects to the birthsign of the same name, but they don't grant any of the Greater or Lesser Powers that can be obtained from the birthsigns available to the player character.

The Jone Stone is a Heaven Stone, not a Birthsign Stone; the Shadow birthsign's matching stone is the Shadow Stone, which grants 15 points of Chameleon for two minutes and can be found a little way off of the Yellow Road near where the road turns due south.

Heaven Stones have minimum fame+infamy requirements for the player character to gain their powers, but the player character can have powers from as many of the Heaven Stones as they have been able to activate; Birthsign Stones do not require the player character to meet any prerequisites to gain their powers, but the player character can only have access to one Birthsign Stone's powers at any given time.

You are wrong.
Oblivion has stones too but not for that use, the first one I ran into for example gave me Conjuration armor and weapon or something like that
