I think the newest version of OBMM doesn't require you to alter anything, but I am not 100% sure. The readme instructions for Qarls is outdated for the newest version of OBMM.

Click Utilities, Archive Invalidation, and make sure that generate archiveinvalidation entries on hash collision is checked and hit update now.

Mine is set to BSA redirection and the options are darkened out, but the correct options are checked.

Open the Zip file and transfer Qarls Texture Pack to your data folder. Click on Qarls Texture Pack while in your data folder and OBMM will automatically open if it is not already open. Highlight the new OMOD on the right side in OBMM then click activate and it should install.

The elven map redux mod requires that the ArchiveInvalidation.txt file be placed in the Oblivion folder for the mod to function correctly, otherwise the changes won't take effect. If you don't like the way Elven Map redux map icons look use colored map markers. I prefer those to the default.

Hmm now that you mention an exe I think my version of Qarls might be different then yours.

I have the full Omod which is a single file in omod format so yours might require a different method of installation. Sorry about that. It is just I have used this file since forever and so I forgot the nexus used a different file.

edit*

Ok, yeah the Nexus file is seperated into 11 parts instead of it just being one file like mine. I think I got my version from Planet Elder scrolls.

I have never used your version so I have no idea what it requires for install. Sorry about that.

I will download the first file with the readme and see if I can figure it out.

Ok from what I can tell you have to unzip the file onto your desktop and click the exe. It should extract the files into your Oblivion/Data Files folder.

Then you need to double click on each of the Qarls Texture Pack parts that were extracted into your Oblivion Data Folder one at a time so that they appear in OBMM on the right side. After each part appears in OBMM make sure it is highlighted and click Activate. You must do this for all 11 parts.

It sounds like the only difference between my file and yours is that mine has no exe and only requires one file to be activated while yours requires individual activation for each part.
