The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Game of the Year Edition (2009)

Symbols Of Office quest problem
I am trying to play the Symbols Of Office quest. Earlier I retrieved the branch from the Tree of Shades and fought my clone to get shadowrend. Next I am supposed to go in Howling Halls. When I arrived to Howling Halls I only met Zealot missionaries and the door inside was locked (key required). I tried unlocking the door via console and continued forward but Ciirta was not inside the last room (where the marker showed she was supposed to be).

Meanwhile I played some other quests and now my active Symbols of office quest list says:

Symbols of office: Now that I have secured the stronghold of the Dark seducers, I should speak to Sheogorath about our next step

Symbols of office: As Duys requested, I've taken a branch of the Tree of Shades, I should now seek out Ciirta in the Howling Halls

But I did not get the eye yet as I did not meet anybody in Howling Halls and Ciirta did not show up?? And the quest went forward?? Tried also talking to Sheogorath but he said nothing new. The quest marker is still placed over Howling Halls though.

Any help here?

after making sure you are using the shivering isles patch, you could set the stage to 191.

by using her ref ID you could try to move her to you or you to her.

I tried moving her by moveto player, she was "moved" but still appeared invisible. I managed to skip the stage to "195 - I should return to Knifepoint Hollow" (was not able to set stage to 191, apparently I was at that stage originally). Then I added her Eye to my inventory using additem. I quess I'm now ready to continue forward!

Would have been nice to play that stage though, probably missed a great fight. Thank you so much for your help itis4u!

No. The whole f**king quest is so bugged that it can't be played. Are they trying to make me a specialist in cheating. What's the purpose of the game IF YOU CAN'T PLAY IT. I have used 70 gamehours in total for this PIECE OF SH*T whilst I could have been continuing Skyrim.

Thanks for ruining my already sh*tty week.
