The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Game of the Year Edition (2009)

Minor Music Issue
Every two hours the music cuts out, just stops playing. I have tried adjusting the audio sliders, fast traveling, getting into fights, and going back the main menu but nothing worked. I've also installed the Unofficial Oblivion Patch to see if that would fix it (and because it's a damn essential patch) but it didn't. The music only comes back if I quit and launch the game again. However, like clockwork, once my session reaches the two hour mark, the music stops again. Everything else works as is; sounds and voices are unaffected. It's only the music.

If there is a simple fix for this issue I would like to know (and be very grateful). If the fix isn't so simple, then I'll take what I can get.

That the sound effects stop playing is normal, and the game usually sees it after ~30 minutes of gameplay and fixes itself.
I have never experienced the music cutting out though, that's odd...
I downloaded the 4GB patch and patched every file necessary for the Steam version. It worked! Finished a three hour session with the music still playing and everything else was stable. Thank you very much!
