Cleaning dirty edits
So I recently cleaned dirty edits from some mods with the help from a youtube video, however after the cleaning the guy said "now you need to rebuild your bashed patch" I have no idea what he meant by that... although he was using Wrye bash and I am using OBMM is there something i need to do with OBMM that's similar to Wrye bash's "bashed patch" or should i just ignore it?

No. WryeBash is the only place to create a bashed patch. If you have more than a couple mods it's worth it though, as it resolves a lot of conficts and in fact it's the only way to use some mods together at all. (You don't have to worry about installing through WryeBash right now although that's recommended too). All you need to do is install it, launch it, and it will automatically start up with your load order. it will place a Bashed Patch, 0.esp file at the bottom of your load order. You just right-click and select rebuild, keep the default options or select changes and activate. Easy. If you want to make it even easier, sort your load order with BOSS and it will apply tags so WryeBash knows which parts of the mod to import into the bashed patch. It's an extremely powerful but easy to use feature. (For reference, if you use a bashed patch you should rebuild it any time your load order changes and that's it).

WryeBash is also pretty handy as a save game manager, and it's a one-click fix if you run into the A-bomb problem. So it's worth having around if you play much modded Oblivion.
