Curious about the OBSE thing though. You don't have your Steam directory under Program Files do you? Are you running as admin?
The only other thing that springs to mind, since you say use you OBMM, did you ever uninstall any kind of levelling or UI mod? OBMM is really bad for uninstalling those kind of things properly.
So far, I've managed to play the game without sleeping, but it's still a pain in the bum.
I'll try looking into 'bashed patch', I believe that's something to do with Wrye Bash
The bashed patch won't fix the crashes but it'll help with other conflicts. Pretty simple, just install Wrye Bash and ideally run your load order through BOSS to let it apply tags, then click on the bashed patch file and rebuild with the default options. You can change whatever you want, but the defaults work out of the box.
And... glad the coffee is helping you! ;)
EDIT: Used an older version which did work, made a bashed patch, went to the testinghall and tried to wait for 3 days. Sadly, still crashed. Any suggestions? Think I might be running out of options.
(thanks for the great support so far btw, really appreciate it!)
If you load an earlier save does it still happen? How about if you start a new game?
If you disable ALL mods, does it still happen? If not, then it's likely a mod problem. Try enabling half your mods and test, then the other half. Then half of whichever group causes the problem etc until you find the mods that's causing it.
If it's a mod problem, you can sometimes recover by making a clean save and then re-enabling the mod. If it's a corrupted save often all you can do is revert to an earlier save from before the problem started, especially if you can't go to the testinghall and wait.
If it's none of the above...?
Thanks again everyone who helped me with the problem, it's really appreciated.
