EDIT: Do you have any programs open in those corners, like a little Skype window or something?
I usually have skype minimized when playing the game, although this still happened when the process for skype was closed completely. Only other program open is Steam. I have NOT seen any program windows in the corners.
2. Yes, I updated my graphics card about a month ago.
I also tried setting it to virtual fullscreen, but my mouse is only the windows mouse with the fix off, and doesn't work at all if the fix is on.
This GameCompanion - is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥, not working crap.
The real solution you only need is:
1. Locate your "Oblivion.exe".
2. Right click, "Properties".
3. Select "Compatibility" tab.
4. Select "Disable visual themes".
After that I have no muse cursor and no minimize problem with the full screen.
