The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Game of the Year Edition (2009)

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Game of the Year Edition (2009)

Oblivion Invisible items.
For some reason, one of my storage containers in Battlehorn Castle (DLC) has some items in it invisible. to me as if they're not playable. I know they're there, because I can press "Take All" and get them, but they continue to be invisible in the inventory. However when I put items back into the container, eventually the items will become visible again.

This isn't a glitch with the amount of items I have, because I have experienced this glitch on two seemingly random containers, and neither one was my "To Be Sold" cupboard that was effectively causing lagspikes when opened.

I'm using a couple of mods, but I turned them off and returned to see if that fixed it, and it didn't.
The way I found to fix this glitch is to clear out the storage container of every single item in it, sell it, then replace it all with console commands, but this is a collection that I've had ever since I started the game, so you can probably guess why I'm too lazy to do so.

Anyone have a fix?

Edit: This issue seems to have been resolved, and the glitch seems to be having an excessive amount of 125% repaired items in one storage container. The fix also seems to be to clear out the container of all weapons and armor repaired to 125%, and replace them with console commands.

No idea, probably around 80 because I started it at 20 hours and now I'm at about 100.

You can tell the exact time, just by looking at your saved game file. Anyhow that doesn't seem to be the issue here.

Ok. I looked at the play time, it's 62 hours.

What do you think the issue is?

Edit: After doing some searching around, I found a theory that the glitch is caused by having an excessive amount of 125% items (Weapons and armor repaired beyond maximum health from the Armorer skill) and now that I think of it, only three containers have been affected, and they're the only three that stored a lot of 125% items. I have another container that has some, but not much. Perhaps I should replace all of my items and then not repair them up to 125%.

Seemed to fix it but if anything else happens I'll post it here.

Are you using the unofficial patches?

Nope. Vanilla game with all DLCs save for two mods that only make non-playable items playable.

You should consider installing the Unofficial patches.

What makes you say that? Besides this one I haven't had any glitches that have been a problem.

They fix a lot of issues like this one. You've got nothing to lose by installing them. It is your choice ofc.

Alright.
Update: Yeah I'm pretty sure it was the 125% items, made it a point to only repair my main gear up to that and I haven't had this problem anymore.
